The new Galaxy M-series phone is the Samsung Galaxy M13. On the official site, Samsung has quietly revealed the device’s appearance and key features. The phone is in the budget segment and replaces the Galaxy M12, which was released last year. Samsung has refreshed the design of the new Samsung Galaxy M13 while also upgrading its specifications.
Samsung Galaxy M13 Specifications
The Samsung Galaxy M13 features a new rear design. It has a unique camera island. The phone’s predecessor’s square camera island has been replaced with a rectangular island.
It has a 6.6-inch water-drop notch display called the Infinity-V panel by Samsung. It has a Full-HD+ resolution IPS LCD screen. The older model, as you may recall, had an HD+ screen. In terms of cameras, the phone has a new 50MP primary lens with an aperture of f/1.8. A 5MP ultra-wide sensor and a 2MP depth lens aid it. The camera can record 1080p videos at 30 frames per second. The front of the device has an 8MP camera for selfies and video calls. The Samsung Galaxy M13 is powered by the Exynos 850 octa-core SoC, 4GB of RAM, and 64GB/128GB of internal storage.
It also has a microSD card slot for extra storage. It comes with a 5,000mAh battery and supports 15W fast charging technology. It includes Samsung’s Knox security. The device includes Dolby Atmos speakers and a fingerprint scanner on the side. It runs Android 12 and has OneUI Core 4.1 on top of it. It is a 4G phone with dual SIM support and connectivity options such as Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5, GPS, and NFC. The phone also has a USB Type-C charging port and a 3.5mm headphone jack for audio needs.
Samsung Galaxy M13 Pricing and colors
The price of the budget phone has not been revealed by Samsung, but given that its predecessor was priced at Rs. 10,499, expect the M13 to be priced similarly. The phone’s European pricing will be revealed first, followed by Indian pricing. In terms of colour, it is available in Deep Green, Light Blue, and Orange Copper.
