The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G, the company’s F revolution series smartphone that was released in March of this year, now has a new colour variant for the Indian market. It was the first 5G F series phone, the first Galaxy F series phone with a Gorilla Glass 5 display, and the first F series device with a Snapdragon processor rather than the standard Exynos chipset.
In India, Samsung has introduced a new Copper Blush colour option for the Galaxy F23 5G smartphone. The new model is available in two variants, each with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. The phone is priced at Rs 15,999. Samsung is providing discounts to ICICI customers.
Aside from the colour, the model has the same features as the other variants. The base model with 4GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs Rs 15,999, while the top-end model with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage costs Rs 16,999.
As part of the launch promotion, Samsung has partnered with ICICI Bank to offer a Rs 1000 flat discount on the purchase of the Galaxy F23 5G. With this offer, the Samsung Galaxy F23 5G will be reduced to Rs 14,999, while the top-end model will be reduced to Rs 15,999.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G was initially available in aqua blue and forest green.
The new smartphone will be available for purchase beginning today, May 16, on Samsung.com, Flipkart.com, and select retail stores across the country.
Samsung Galaxy F23 5G specifications
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G features a 6.6-inch 1080p display with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a waterdrop notch cutout with an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. A fingerprint reader is mounted on the side. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. The charging brick is not included in the box.
The phone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G chip, which is paired with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There is story expansion support as well as a virtual memory option of up to 6GB. On the software front, it is powered by the Android 12 operating system and One UI 4.1. The company promises two years of operating system updates and three years of security patches.
The Samsung Galaxy F23 5G comes with a triple rear camera system that includes a 50-megapixel primary Samsung JN1 sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
