After a global debut earlier this year, Samsung has launched its 32-inch Smart Monitor M8 with a SlimFit Camera in India. The smart monitor includes Smart Hub functionality, which allows users to access 4K HDR video-on-demand (VoD) platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV. The Samsung smart monitor does not require an external device such as a computer or a television because it can connect to a variety of other smart devices via the upgraded Smart Hub. The Smart Monitor M8 is currently available for pre-order and will be available for purchase soon.

Samsung, the South Korean conglomerate, has released the Smart Monitor M8 for Rs. 59,999. The monitor is currently available for pre-order through the company’s official online store, Samsung Shop. Specifications
The Samsung Smart Monitor M8 has a 32-inch 4K (38402160 pixels) HDR10+ display with a peak brightness of 400 nits. It is supported by a height-adjustable stand. The monitor also includes a wireless SlimFit Camera with a magnetic and detachable full-HD resolution. For a better video conferencing experience, the camera includes Face Tracking and Auto Zoom. It also has two 5W speakers built in and supports video calls via Google Duo and Microsoft Teams.
The Smart Hub feature is available on the Samsung Smart Monitor M8. It provides users with access to popular VoD platforms such as Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, Disney+, and Apple TV in 4K HDR resolution.
The smart monitor does not require users to connect an external device such as a PC or television. Users can also get free access to Samsung TV Plus content with no downloads or sign-ups, as well as personalized content recommendations from Universal Guide.
Samsung’s new smart monitor enables PC-free productivity. It does not require a PC to browse the Internet or edit documents. Users can gain access to it by connecting to various smart devices via the upgraded Smart Hub. The Workspace User Interface consolidates everything needed on a single screen by allowing users to connect wirelessly to a Windows or Mac PC and use features such as Samsung DeX, Apple AirPlay 2, and Microsoft 365. Users can also use their smartphones to mirror content to the smart monitor.
The Smart Monitor M8 includes a Smart Things Hub that allows users to wirelessly connect to and track IoT devices in their homes, as well as Bluetooth 4.2 and Wi-Fi connectivity. The hub collects data from other IoT devices such as lighting switches and plug power. The monitor also has a Far Field Voice microphone that works with voice assistants such as Samsung Bixby and Amazon Alexa. Even if the monitor is turned off, the microphone’s Always on Voice function will display conversation information when Bixby is activated.
Samsung’s new smart monitor has a flat-back design and is 11.4mm thick, which the company claims is approximately three-quarters thinner than previous models. It also has a number of adaptive display features, such as auto display brightness and color.
