The three-day scientific study of the Ratna Bhandar of the 12th-century Jagannath Temple in Odisha’s Puri district concluded. The poll was planned to last three days, but it finished on Sunday, the second day.
On the second day, the floor and walls of the inner and outer rooms of the temple’s Ratna Bhandar were examined. The investigation was conducted utilizing GPRS (General Packet Radio Service) technology. The survey report is scheduled to arrive within the next 10 days. After the report is received, steps will be done in accordance with the Ratna Bhandar’s criteria, Shrimandir Chief Administrator Arvind Padhee informed the media on Sunday.
Justice Biswanath Rath, Chairman of the Srimandir Ratna Bhandar Committee, stated that the Archeological Survey of Indai’s report is awaited. Necessary action will be taken after receiving the report.
Anand Kishore Pandey, Senior Principal Scientist at the National Geophysical Research Institute (CSIR-NGRI), led a scientific survey of the temple’s Ratna Bhandar.
The survey, which began on Saturday, would have been concluded by Monday. Previously, the survey work was concluded on Sunday. NGRI applied best-of-breed procedures throughout the survey.
