Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: Benchmarks for the domestic equity market on Thursday, a day of weekly F&O expiry, the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 ended the volatile session in positive territory. The BSE Sensex finished 157 points or 0.3% higher at 58,222, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 58 points or 0.3% to 17,332. Sensex gainers included Tata Steel, L&T, ICICI Bank, HCL Tech, Infosys, Axis Bank, Sun Pharma, Wipro, and Reliance Industries. Bharti Airtel, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), IndusInd Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), and Bajaj Finance, on the other hand, were among the top index losers. The India VIX, or volatility index, fell 1.3% to close at 19.32. The Bank Nifty gained 0.4 per cent to finish at 39,283.
