Share Market Highlights: Domestic indices pared gains and slipped into negative territory, ending on a mixed note amid volatility as budget excitement subsided. During the day, the BSE Sensex jumped over 1100 points, reaching an intraday high of 60,773.44, and the NSE Nifty 50 surpassed 17,970, but indices began to fall immediately after the FM’s speech ended. Markets have been trading lower for the past few days as the Hindenburg-Adani saga has shaken investor confidence, but today both equity benchmark indices surged following Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman’s budget announcement, only to crash 1% at the end of the trading session.
