Stock Market Close Highlights, February 3, 2026: Bulls took over Dalal Street on Tuesday, as Indian market indexes, the Sensex and Nifty, rose following the signing of the historic India-US trade agreement. On Monday, US President Donald Trump announced the accord, which slashed reciprocal duties on Indian imports by 18%.
The BSE Sensex closed at 83,739.13, up 2,072.67 points, or 2.54%, while the NSE Nifty 50 concluded at 25,727.55, up 639.15 points, or 2.55%.
On the BSE, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, IndiGo, and PowerGrid were among the top gainers, with Tech Mahindra and BEL the only losers.
All sectors indices closed in the green, headed by the Nifty Realty index, which rose more than 4%. The Nifty Chemical, Pharma, and Consumer Durables indices also rose by more than 3% each.
The broader markets reflected the optimism, with the Nifty MidCap 100 and Nifty SmallCap 100 closing 2.84 and 2.82 percent higher, respectively.
