Stock Market Close Highlights, November 26, 2025: The Indian benchmark indexes Sensex and Nifty50 closed near record highs on Wednesday, boosted by broad-based buying across sectors.
The BSE Sensex closed at 85,609.51, up 1,022.5 points or 1.21 percent, while the NSE Nifty50 ended at 26,205.3, up 320.5 points or 1.24 percent.
The top Sensex gainers included the Bajaj twins, Reliance Industries, Sun Pharma, and Tata Motors PV. On the negative, the only laggards were Bharti Airtel and Asian Paints.
All sectoral indices closed in the green, with Nifty Metal leading the rally, up 2.06 per cent, followed by Nifty Consumer Durables (up 1.75 per cent) and Nifty Energy (up 1.74 per cent).
Broader markets also advanced, with the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices ending higher by 1.27 per cent and 1.36 per cent, respectively.
