Sensex today | Stock Market Updates today, Tuesday, November 18, 2025: The Indian equity markets recovered early losses on Tuesday, as the global selloff weighed on the main indices.
As of 2:00 PM, the Nifty was down 42.05 points, or 0.16 percent, at 25,971.40, and the Sensex was down 91.56 points, or 0.11 percent, at 84,859.39.
The top Sensex laggards were Tech M, Bajaj Finserv, Infosys, Bajaj Finance, HUL, HCL Tech, Eternal, and L&T, which all fell between 0.5 and 1.8 percent. Bharti Airtel, Axis Bank, Power Grid, Asian Paints, and RIL all saw gains of up to 1.8%.
In broader markets, the Nifty MidCap index sank 0.30 percent, while the Nifty SmallCap index fell 0.77 percent.
The majority of sectors indices were trading in the negative, headed by the Nifty Realty (1.33%), Nifty Metal (0.9%), and Nifty IT (0.8%).
