Stock Market Close Highlights, November 25, 2025:The Indian benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty50 closed down on Tuesday, pushed by the monthly expiry of Nifty F&O futures for the November series.
The BSE Sensex closed at 84,587.01, down 313.7 points or 0.37 percent, while the NSE Nifty50 ended at 25,884.8, down 74.7 points or 0.29 percent.
Trent, Tata Motors PV, HCLTech, Infosys, and Power Grid were among the Sensex’s top losers, while BEL, SBI, Tata Steel, and Eternal were among the top gainers.
Nifty Realty and Nifty PSU Bank were the sector’s standout performers, climbing 1.62 percent and 1.44 percent, respectively. In contrast, Nifty IT fell 0.57 percent and Nifty Media fell 0.8 percent.
The broader markets outperformed their benchmarks, with the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices rising 0.36 and 0.19 percent, respectively.
