Stock Market Close Highlights, November 24, 2025: Indian shares ended lower on Monday following a bumpy session, despite global market buying activity.
The BSE Sensex closed at 84,900.71, down 331.21 points or 0.39 percent, while the NSE Nifty50 was quoted at 25,959.5, down 108.65 points or 0.42 percent.
On the Sensex, the biggest gainers included Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Asian Paints, Adani Ports, and Sun Pharma. BEL, Tata Steel, M&M, and Tata Motors PV were notable laggards.
Sectorally, Nifty Realty was the greatest drag, falling 2.05%, followed by Nifty Metal (down 1.23%) and Nifty Chemicals (down 1.31%). In contrast, Nifty IT defied the trend, closing 0.41 percent higher.
In the broader markets, the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 indices fell 0.32 percent and 0.85 percent, respectively.
