Stock market close highlights on Wednesday, November 12, 2025: Indian benchmark indices, Sensex and Nifty, ended higher, driven by strong gains in IT and auto stocks.
That said, the BSE Sensex settled 595.19 points or 0.71 per cent higher at 84,466.51, while Nifty50 ended 180.85 points or 0.7 per cent higher at 25,875.80 levels.
On the BSE, Asian Paints, Tech Mahindra and Bajaj Finserv were the top gainers while Tata Steel, Tata Motors PV, and BEL were among the major laggards.
Broader indices, too, gained. Nifty Midcap 100 index closed ).79 per cent higher, while SmallCap settled 0.82 per cent up.
Sectorally, Nifty IT was the top gainer, up 2.04 per cent. It was followed by Niftry Auto and Pharma, up 1.24 per cent and 1 per cent, respectively.
