Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices Highlights: The benchmark equity indices closed the trading session on a flat note on July 25 recovering morning losses. The BSE Sensex lost 109 points, or 0.14%, to end the day’s trading at 80,040, maintaining the psychological level of 80,000 for the second day running. The NSE Nifty 50 closed 7.40 points, or 0.03% down, at 24,406.10. Bank Nifty fell more than 400 points for the second consecutive session, finishing at 50,888.75. Against the trend, the Nifty Midcap 100 closed 131 points or 0.23% lower at 56,741.75.
Share Market Highlight: Nifty, Sensex ends flat
The NSE Nifty 50 closed 0.01% higher at 24,416, while the BSE Sensex closed 0.08% lower at 80,084.76.
Tata Motors, ONGC, SBI Life Insurance, BPCL, and L&T were the top gainers in the Nifty 50. While Axis Bank, Nestle India, Titan, ICICI Bank, and Tata Steel were the major losers in the Nifty 50 on July 25.
CG Power, Hindustan Petroleum, Oil India, Cummins India, and Suzlon Energy were the top midcap gainers, while Max Health, AU Small Finance Bank, KPITechnology, Persistent Tech, and Indian Hotels were the major laggards in the Nifty Midcap 100 on July 25.
