Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indices finished Monday’s session fairly unchanged. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 25.70 points, or 0.14%, to 18,691.20, while the BSE Sensex fell 9 points to 62,970. Bank Nifty climbed 18.15 points to 43,641.05, Nifty Auto gained 1.15%, Nifty Pharma gained 1.53%, Nifty FMCG gained 0.68%, and Nifty PSU Bank declined 0.18%. Cipla, Adani Enterprises, HeroMotocorp, Tata Consumer Products, and UPL were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Power Grid, TCS, Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), NTPC, and Coal India were the top losers.
US indices end in red
The US market ended the previous session broadly in red – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) tumbled 0.65%, S&P 500 plunged 0.77% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq tanked 1%.
Asian markets trade mostly flat
Asian markets were trading mostly flat – Hong Kong’s Hang Seng, Asia Dow and Japan’s Nikkei 225 were trading flat, China’s Shanghai Composite Index tanked 1% and South Korea’s KOSPI rose 0.4%.
