Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indices finished Monday’s session in the green. The NSE Nifty 50 jumped 24.10 points, or 0.12%, to 19,355.90, while the BSE Sensex gained 63.72 points, or 0.10%, to 65,344.17. Bank Nifty declined 64.15 points or 0.14% to 44,860.85, Nifty Auto fell 0.62%, Nifty IT fell 1.24%, Nifty PSU Bank fell 0.57%, Nifty Metal gained 1.69%, and Nifty Oil & Gas increased 0.59%. Reliance Industries Ltd (RIL), Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Bharti Airtel, and HDFC Life were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while HCL Tech, Titan, Power Grid, TCS, and Hindustan Unilever Ltd were the top losers.
US indices end in red
The US market ended the Friday’s session in red – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) slipped 0.55%, S&P 500 plunged 0.29% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq fell 0.13%.
Asian markets trade mixed
Asian markets were trading mixed – China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.58%, South Korea’s KOSPI gained 0.32%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng jumped 1.83%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 tumbled 0.77%, and Asia Dow dipped 0.1%.
