Share Market Highlights: Nifty ends tad below 18200, Sensex in green

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indices NSE Nifty and BSE Sensex were trading in the red for the majority of the session, but bulls made a comeback on Dalal Street on the monthly F&O expiry. The Nifty recovered 200 points from its intraday low to close at 18191, while the Sensex rose 0.3% to 61,133. After falling more than 0.5% intraday, the Bank Nifty recovered, gaining 762 points from the day’s low to close at 43,252. After opening in the red, the broader markets closed primarily in the green; the Nifty Midcap 100 and Nifty Smallcap 100 ended flat. Sectorally, the Nifty PSU Bank and Nifty Private Bank gained 0.7% and 1.03%, respectively, led by ICICI Bank, HDFC Bank, and SBI. KFintech IPO had a flat debut on the bourses.
