Share Market Highlights: Nifty, Sensex end in green; Sensex over 200 pts, Nifty closes above 18,600

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Despite a volatile trading session on Tuesday, Indian benchmark indices remained in the green. The NSE Nifty ended the day at 18,618 after reaching a high of 18,678. The BSE Sensex rose more than 200 points, reaching a high of 62,887 before settling at 62,681. Except for the Nifty Midcap, the broader market indices performed well. Sectorally, the Nifty FMCG and Nifty Metal indices outperformed the other indices. The worst performers were Nifty Auto, Nifty Oil & Gas, and Nifty Realty. The BSE Sensex is led by Hindustan Unilever, Sun Pharma, Nestle, ICICI Bank, Dr Reddy, and Tata Steel, with IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Maruti, Powergrid, Asian Paints, and Larsen & Toubro anchoring the gains.
