Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: The benchmark equity indices in India ended the day broadly higher. The NSE Nifty 50 gained 117.10 points, or 0.67%, to 17,711.45, while the BSE Sensex gained 415.49 points, or 0.69%, to 60,224.46. Adani Enterprises, Tata Motors, ONGC, NTPC, and Power Grid were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Britannia, Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Hindalco, and Larsen & Toubro were the top losers.
The US markets ended Friday’s session broadly in green with Dow Jones Industrial Average rising 1.17%, S&P 500 surging 1.61% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq skyrocketing 1.97%.
Asian markets were trading mixed with China’s Shanghai Composite index falling 0.21%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng dropping 0.28% while Japan’s Nikkei 225 rose 1.17%, and South Korea’s KOSPI climbed 0.53%.
