Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends 340 pts lower, Nifty ends below 17,650

Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices Highlights: The BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 ended half a percent lower on Thursday, a day of weekly F&O expiry. The BSE Sensex fell 337 points, or 0.6%, to 59,120, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 89 points, or 0.5%, to 17630. Among the top BSE Sensex gainers were Titan Company, Hindustan Unilever Ltd (HUL), Asian Paints, Maruti Suzuki India, ITC, Dr Reddy’s, Bharti Airtel, M&M, TCS, and NTPC. On the other hand, top index draggers included Power Grid Corporation of India, HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), and Reliance. The Bank Nifty index fell 1.4 percent to 40,631.
