Share Market Highlights: Sensex ends 545 pts higher, Nifty ends above 17,300

Today’s Stock Market Highlights | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices: The Sensex and Nifty opened in the green on Monday and, despite initial volatility, remained comfortably in bulls’ hands.

The S&P BSE Sensex rose 545 points, or 0.95 percent, to 58,115, while the NSE Nifty 50 index rose 1.06 percent to 17,340. M&M led the Sensex gainers with a 6.29 percent gain, followed by Power Grid, NTPC, and Bharti Airtel. Sun Pharma was the worst performer, falling 2.81 percent, followed by HUL, IndusInd Bank, and Nestle India.
