Share Market Highlights: Sensex falls 230 pts, Nifty ends below 18350

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: On the weekly F&O expiry, Indian benchmark indices ended in the red due to high volatility and weak global cues. The BSE Sensex fell 230 points to end at 61750, while the NSE Nifty 50 fell 65 points, or 0.36%, to 18343. Bank Nifty closed at 42,458, down 77 points or 0.18%. Selling pressure in auto, IT, and HDFC Bank and HDFC dragged down the frontline indices. Broader markets fell in lockstep with benchmarks, with the Nifty Midcap and Nifty Smallcap indices both falling around 0.4%. Titan and Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) were the top Sensex losers, each losing more than 2%. Other notable losers included Maruti, HDFC, Dr. Reddy’s, Bajaj Finserv, and Infosys.
