Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Stock Prices Highlights: Domestic indices finished the day in the green on Thursday. The NSE Nifty 50 rose 29.45 points, or 0.15%, to 19,413.75 points, while the BSE Sensex rose 164.99 points, or 0.25%, to 65,558.89 points. Bank Nifty gained 25.60 points or 0.06% to 44,665.05, Nifty IT gained 1.75%, Nifty Realty gained 1.02%, but Nifty Auto lost 0.68%, Nifty Pharma lost 0.43%, Nifty PSU Bank lost 2.38%, and Nifty Oil & Gas lost 1.17%. TCS, Hindalco, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, and Bajaj FInserv were the top gainers on the Nifty 50, while Power Grid, Coal India, UPL, Maruti Suzuki, and BPCL were the top losers.
US indices end in green
The US market ended the overnight session in green – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) rose 0.25%, S&P 500 gained 0.74% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq jumped 1.15%.
Asian markets tarde in green
Asian markets were trading in green – China’s Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.71%, South Korea’s KOSPI gained 0.91%, Hong Kong’s Hang Seng skyrocketed 2.12%, Japan’s Nikkei 225 jumped 1.21%, and Asia Dow soared 1.66%.
