Share Market Highlights: Sensex jumps 443 pts, Nifty closes above 17,650

Today’s  Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: Domestic equity benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 finished nearly 1% higher on Monday, led by gains in index heavyweights. The BSE Sensex rose 443 points, or 0.8%, to 59,246, while the NSE Nifty 50 closed at 17,665.80, up 0.7%. On the S&P BSE Sensex, 23 stocks closed in the green. Sun Pharma, ITC, NTPC, Reliance Industries, HCL Tech, Tata Steel, L&T, ICICI Bank, and Bharti Airtel are among them. The Sensex losers included Nestle India, UltraTech Cements, Wipro, Asian Paints, HUL, Power Grid Corporation of India, and Bajaj Finance.
