Today’s Share Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Domestic indices finished the weekly F&O expiry session at all-time highs. The new 52-week high for the NSE Nifty 50 is 19,991.85, barely 9 points shy of the 20,000 barrier. The 30-share Sensex has achieved a new record high of 67,619.17, while the Bank Nifty has an all-time high of 46,256.20. Meanwhile, the NSE Nifty 50 gained 146 points, or 0.74%, to close at 19,979.15, while the BSE Sensex gained 474.46 points, or 0.71%, to conclude at 67,571.90. Bank Nifty rose 517.60 points or 1.13% to 46,186.90, Nifty Financial Services climbed 1.02%, Nifty FMCG gained 1.35%, Nifty Pharma increased 1.46%, and Nifty IT declined 0.66%. ITC, Kotak Bank, ICICI Bank, and Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and Grasim while the losers were Infosys, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finserv, Eicher Motors and Britannia were the biggest gainers on the Nifty 50.
US indices end mildly in green
The US market ended Wednesday’s session in green – Dow Jones Industrial Average (DJIA) rose 0.31%, S&P 500 gained 0.24% and the tech-heavy Nasdaq was up 0.03%.
Asian markets trade mixed
Asian markets were trading mixed – Japan’s Nikkei 225 tanked 0.83%, China’s Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.09%, Asia Dow dipped 0.04% while South Korea’s KOSPI rose 0.03% and Hong Kong’s Hang Seng jumped 0.73%.
