Share Market Highlights: Sensex, Nifty end flat in green amid high volatility

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: After swinging between gains and losses ahead of the weekly F&O expiry, Indian benchmark indices managed to end marginally in the green. The S&P BSE Sensex surpassed 62,000 for the first time in 13 months, reaching a high of 62,053 before closing with a 108-point gain at 61,981. The 30-share index is now only 264 points away from its all-time high of 62,245. The NSE Nifty reached a high of 18,442 before settling seven points higher at 18,410. Power, real estate, and metals indices all fell 1%, while banking stocks saw some buying. In broader markets, the BSE midcap index fell 0.6%, while the smallcap index fell 0.3%.
