Share Market News Today | Sensex, Nifty, Share Prices Highlights: The major equity indices saw a good close to the trading day on Wednesday. The BSE Sensex surged 2303.19 points, or 3.10%, to 74,382.24, while the NSE Nifty 50 gained 735.87 points, or 3.36%, to close at 22,620.35. The large-cap and mid-cap equities led the gains in the overall indices, which concluded in positive territory. The Bank Nifty index closed at 49,054.60, up 147.85 points, or 4.53%. Among the other sectoral indices, auto and metal stocks performed better than those in real estate and information technology.
The NSE Nifty 50 gained 3.36% to settle at 22,620.35, while the BSE Sensex jumped 3.10% to 74,382.24
The NSE Nifty 50 was up 393 points or 1.80% at 22,277.85, while the BSE Sensex was up 1.75% or 1,259 points at 73,338.
The BSE Sensex rose 1.34% or 984 points at 72,971, while the NSE Nifty 50 was up 195 points or 0.89% at 22,077 in the pre-open session.
