Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices HIGHLIGHTS: On Monday, the domestic equity market benchmarks BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty 50 finished flat to negative. The BSE Sensex closed 94 points, or 0.2%, lower at 55,675, while the NSE Nifty 50 index closed at 16569.55, down 0.1%.
Tata Steel was the biggest gainer, up more than 1%, followed by IndusInd Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra, ITC, Kotak Mahindra Bank, Infosys, and ICICI Bank. Asian Paints, UltraTech Cement, Bajaj Finserv, Nestle India, Hindustan Unilever, and Sun Pharma, on the other hand, were top draggers.
The India VIX increased 1.13 percent to 20.20.
