Share Market Highlights: Sensex soars 500 pts, Nifty ends above 18050

Today’s Stock Market News | Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: The Indian benchmark indices finished higher despite mixed global cues. The Nifty 50 finished at 18,055 points, up 160 points or 0.9%, while the S&P BSE Sensex finished at 60,655 points, up 562 points or 0.9%. Oil and gas, real estate, energy, infrastructure, power, capital goods, and FMCG all gained 1%, while the PSU bank index fell 2%. The BSE midcap and smallcap indices ended flat in the broader markets. The top gainers on the Nifty were L&T, HUL, HDFC, HCL Technologies, and HDFC Bank, while the top losers were SBI, IndusInd Bank, Bajaj Finserv, Wipro, and Bajaj Finance.
