Sensex, Nifty, and Share Prices Highlights: Indian equity benchmarks recovered from early losses and traded flat in the afternoon, with banking companies outperforming amid mixed market breadth. The Sensex closed at 80,369.03, up 363.99 points (0.45%), while the Nifty 50 ended at 24,466.85, up 127.70 points (0.52%). State Bank of India rose 5% among the 30 Sensex stocks, followed by ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finserv, NTPC, Adani Ports, Bajaj Finance, and Larsen & Toubro. In contrast, laggards included Maruti, Tata Motors, Sun Pharma, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, and Mahindra & Mahindra. Banking stocks emerged as a bright spot, with the Nifty Bank index rising 478.70 points (0.93 percent) to 51,738.00. The pattern was reflected in the Nifty Financial Services index, which increased 195.60 points or 0.82 per cent to 24,057.45.
