On Tuesday, an all-party conference was held at the Assembly Conference Hall in preparation for the Odisha Assembly’s monsoon session.
The conference was hosted by Odisha Assembly Speaker Surama Padhy and attended by lawmakers from several parties, including the BJP, BJD, Congress, and CPM.
Key leaders attended the meeting, including main Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, two Deputy Chief Ministers, the Government Chief Whip, the Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, the Law Minister, the opposition party’s main whip, Pramila Mallik, and Congress Legislature Party leader Ramachandra Kadam.
The major goal of the gathering was to ensure that Assembly activities ran smoothly throughout the upcoming session. During the meeting, Speaker Padhy asked cooperation and support from members of all parties to ensure the session ran smoothly.
The monsoon session of the Assembly is slated to begin on September 18 and end on September 25. The session will last a total of seven working days.
The BJD legislature party meeting is slated for September 17 at 5 p.m. With preparations started, all parties are anticipating a lively session.
