The Odisha government will award financial assistance under the Subhadra Yojana to 4,57,681 beneficiaries today.
The function will take place at 10 a.m. at the Krushi Shiksha Sadan, in the presence of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida.
According to estimates, the first tranche would be distributed to 1,78,398 newly eligible recipients who have reached the age of 21. Furthermore, 24,018 claimants who were added after the grievance process and 2,55,265 recipients who were excluded owing to technical problems would get the funds. The latter will receive double installments totaling Rs 10,000.
The government would distribute Rs 250 crore to the recipients.
It is worth noting that the event was originally set for January 18 but was postponed to January 22.
