The Odisha government has declared that financial assistance under the Subhadra plan will be credited to newly registered beneficiaries’ bank accounts on January 22, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida said on X.
The project gives women with Rs 5,000 in direct cash assistance with the goal of empowering them and increasing household income.
Initially, the payout was scheduled for January 18, but officials rescheduled the date to ensure adequate verification and inclusion of eligible women. Approximately 4,57,681 women in Odisha would benefit, including newly registered women, restored beneficiaries, and those added during grievance hearings.
