The Subhadra portal now has an Opt-In feature, allowing people who accidentally opted out of the plan to re-enroll.
According to an official press release, over 8,000 candidates have already taken advantage of this chance and have been successfully reinstated under the plan.
The Women and Child Development (W&CD) Department has encouraged people who wrongly opted out to take advantage of the new facility to secure their inclusion.
In related developments, the fourth phase of the first installment under the scheme is due to be distributed soon.
However, more than two lakh candidates have still to complete their e-KYC verification. Without this step, eligible beneficiaries will have issues obtaining their cash.
The W&CD Department has asked candidates to finish the e-KYC process as soon as possible. Beneficiaries can do so using the biometric system at their local Jan Seva Kendra or Mo Seva Kendra. This step is critical to ensuring a smooth transfer of benefits to all eligible persons.
