On Saturday, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) forecast thunderstorms with lightning over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, and Koraput.
Light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely in one or two places across the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Khurda, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Nawarangpur, Nuapada, Rayagada, and Koraput, according to the IMD.
Dry weather is expected to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha over the next 24 hours. On March 15 and 16, light to moderate rain or thundershowers are expected in one or two locations across the districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, , Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Rayagada, Koraput, and Malkangiri, the IMD added.
