Today Odisha detected with 10,856 fresh infections in last 24 hours, total COVID-19 caseload today further surged to 11,22,735, including 61, 809 active cases.
Of the total fresh cases, 6293 were quarantine cases and the remaining are local contacts.
The State Information and Public Relation (I&PR) Department informed that fresh infectees include 1,021 in 0-18 years age group,
Khordha district registered a major spike of 3,087 fresh cases, followed by Sundargarh (1,943) and Cuttack (909).
