TVS has launched a new base variant of the iQube electric scooter in the country. The new base variant has a smaller 2.2 kWh battery pack and is priced at Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom). In another significant step, TVS claims to have begun deliveries of the top-spec ST edition of the iQube.
Furthermore, the ST model is now available in two battery pack sizes: 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh. Overall, the iQube series is now available in five models with three battery pack options, with sales beginning today in 434 cities across India.

TVS iQube base variant: Specs & features
Powering the new base variant of TVS iQube is a 4.4kW hub-mounted BLDC motor which churns out 140 Nm of torque and derives energy from a 2.2 kWh battery. The battery is good enough to deliver a single-charge range of 75 km in Eco mode and 60 km in Power mode. Using a fast charger, the battery can juice up 0 to 80% in 2 hours. This variant is available in two colour schemes— Walnut Brown and Pearl White.
Priced at Rs 94,999 (ex-showroom, Bengaluru inclusive of EMPS subsidy and cashback) this introductory price is valid till 30 June 2024. In terms of features, the base variant of iQube is equipped with a 5-inch colour TFT screen, a 950W charger, vehicle crash and tow alert, turn-by-turn navigation, distance to empty, and 30-litre under seat storage.
TVS iQube ST: Specs & features
The iQube ST is available in two battery options– 3.4 kWh and 5.1 kWh– the former is priced at Rs 1.55 lakh while the latter is priced at Rs 1.85 lakh (both ex-showroom, Bengaluru). The 3.4 kWh battery offers a range of 100 km with a top speed of 78 kmph, whereas the 5.1 kWh model claims a range of 150 km on a single charge and can clock a top speed of 82 kmph.
Customers who pre-booked the ST variant before July 15, 2022, will be able to choose between the 5.1 kWh and 3.4 kWh ST variants, with an introductory loyalty incentive of Rs. 10,000. Aside from the battery pack, the ST models have similar specifications. These include a 7-inch full-color TFT touchscreen, over 118 linked functions, voice assistance through Alexa, digital document storage, and a tire pressure monitoring system.
The Hosur-based company offers the ST model in four colors: Copper Bronze Matte, Coral Sand Satin, Titanium Gray Matte, and Starlight Blue. TVS claims to have sold over 3 lakh units of iQube to date.
