The National Testing Agency (NTA) will administer the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) for Undergraduate courses at universities and colleges affiliated with central universities this year.
Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar, Chairman of the University Grants Commission (UGC), announced that CUET (UG)-2022 will be held at various centers in 554 cities across India and 13 cities abroad.
The CUET (UG) will be administered via computer (CBT).
Agadesh Kumar went on to say that the entrance exam will be held on July 15, 16, 19, and 20, as well as August 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 10.
The UGC chairman advised candidates to keep checking the NTA websites—https://cuet.samarth.ac.in and http://nta.ac.in—for further examination updates.
Previously, the only medium of examination was English. However, it will now be held in 13 different languages: English, Hindi, Marathi, Assamese, Bengali, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Odia, Gujarati, Tamil, Punjabi, and Urdu.
According to official sources, the CUET will be held twice a year beginning in 2023, with Postgraduate courses likely to be added the following year.
