UGC NET, December 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) today extended the registration deadline for the December 2022 University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET). Candidates can now register online at ugcnet.nta.nic.in until January 23.
On January 18, the registration period for the UGC NET December Session came to an end. The examination will be held from February 21 to March 10.

Step 1: Visit the official website – ugcnet.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the registration link on the homepage
Step 3: Fill the application form and pay application fee
Step 4: Click on submit to complete the application process
UGC-NET is a test used to determine Indian nationals’ eligibility for ‘Assistant Professor’ and ‘Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor’ positions in Indian universities and colleges.
Candidates are awarded Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Eligibility for Assistant Professorship based on their overall performance in UGC-NET papers 1 and 2. Those who are only eligible for Assistant Professorships are not considered for JRF awards.
