UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) opened the application correction window for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Candidates who have submitted the UGC NET June 2024 application form can make adjustments using the official website ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The deadline for editing the application form is May 23, 11:59 p.m. To log in and make changes to the application form, candidates must provide their registration number and password. The UGC NET June 2024 test is scheduled to take place on June 18.

Step 1: Visit the official website — ugcnet.nta.ac.in
Step 2: Click on the “Correction in particulars of the Online Application Form for UGC NET June 2024” link
Step 3: Enter the registration number and password and log in
Step 4: Edit the required fields in the application form and save it

What can be edited in the application form?
Candidates will not be allowed to make changes in their name, gender, photo, signature, mobile number, email address, permanent and correspondence address, and exam city. However, they are allowed to edit their date of birth, category, father’s name, and mother’s name only.
The entrance exam will be used to evaluate eligibility for Junior Research Fellowships (JRF), assistant professor positions at Indian universities and colleges, and admission to PhD programs. After the UGC NET June 2024 edit facility shuts, the NTA will soon release the admission card on its official website.
Last year, 9,45,918 candidates registered and 6,95,928 took the December 2023 exam from 292 cities across the country. The exam was taken between December 6 and December 14, with the results announced on January 17.
M Jagadesh Kumar, the Chief of UGC, recently declared that UGC NET marks will be accepted for PhD admissions beginning with the 2023-24 academic session. The results will be declared in percentile along with the marks obtained by a candidate to utilise the marks for admission to PhD.
