UGC NET June 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the final answer key for the University Grants Commission’s National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2024. Candidates who took the test can find the final answer key on the UGC NET official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The UGC NET June 2024 was held from August 21 to September 4 at various centers across the country. The manner of examination was previously pen and paper (offline), but it was changed to a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.
UGC NET 2024: Steps to download final answer key
Step 1: Candidates need to visit the official UGC NET website – ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for the UGC NET Answer Key 2024.
Step 3: Fill out your application number and date of birth, then press submit.
Step 4: The pdf for the final answer key will appear.
Step 5: Candidates can download and save it for future use.
Each question in the exam receives two marks. Candidates will receive two marks for each correct response, with no marks deducted for incorrect answers or unattempted questions.
The UGC NET is held twice a year, in June and December, to select Junior Research Fellows (JRFs), Assistant Professors, and PhD candidates. On June 18, the exam was held in two shifts in over 317 places throughout India, with over 9 lakh students taking part. It made headlines due to the cancelation of a test following reports of a paper leak, the CBI’s investigation confirming no paper leak, the re-exam, and the postponement of the re-exam.
