On August 27, the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the timetable for the National Defence Academy (NDA) 2 and Naval Academy examination (NA) II tests. Candidates who have registered for the exam can view the UPSC NDA 2 and NA 2 exam schedules on upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
According to the UPSC timetable, the NDA 2 and NA 2 exams for 2025 will take place on Sunday, September 14, in two shifts. The first shift will be for mathematics, running from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., while the second session will be for the general ability exam, running from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The total marks for mathematics is 300 and it is 600 for the general ability test.
Candidates clearing the written exam will become eligible for the SSB Test/Interview. The SSB or the interview will be held for 900 marks.
UPSC NDA, NA 2 Exam 2025: Key points
– The question papers will consist of objective-type questions only.
– The question papers will be bilingual (Hindi and English).
– Questions involving the metric system of weights and measures will be set.
– No candidate will be allowed to take the help of a scribe to write answers for them.
– Using calculator, mathematical or a log table will not be allowed while taking the exam.
The UPSC NDA and NA 2 test 2025 is being held to fill 406 seats at the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy. Students who pass the exam will be eligible for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, the Air Force Academy, Hyderabad, the Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala, the Officers Training Academy, Chennai, or the National Defence Academy II.
The admit card will be made available seven days before the exam at upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can download it by entering their application ID and date of birth. UPSC has encouraged candidates to thoroughly examine their admission cards and report any irregularities as soon as possible.
If a candidate does not get an admit card or notification regarding his or her candidature, he or she should contact the commission in person or via its helpdesk at 011-24041001.
“No candidate will ordinarily be allowed to take the examination unless he/she holds a e-Admit Card for the examination. On receipt of e-Admit Card, check it carefully and bring discrepancies/errors, if any, to the notice of the UPSC immediately. The courses to which the candidates are admitted will be according to their eligibility as per educational qualifications for different courses and the preferences given by the candidates,” UPSC said.
