UPSC CSE 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has altered the personality test set for February 5. The UPSC CSE 2024 personality exam, which was originally scheduled for February 5, will now take place on February 8. The decision follows the announcement of the Delhi Assembly elections.
The UPSC CSE 2024 interviews or personality tests have already begun on January 7. Up to 2,845 individuals have been shortlisted for the interview round. The UPSC CSE test is divided into three stages: preliminary, main, and interview. While the UPSC CSE 2024 preliminary test was held on June 16, the CSE mains UPSC exam was scheduled on September 20, 21, 22, 28, and 29. Candidates who passed the mains are invited to an interview and personality test round will continue till April 17, 2025.

The Commission intends to fill more than 1,000 positions through the 2024 recruitment process. Candidates who score higher than the cut-off marks will be recruited to the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), and other government services and positions. 1,056 positions have been announced for CSE 2024, with 150 for IFoS. The number of vacancies has decreased from last year.
