UPSC CSE Mains 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the schedule for the Civil Services Main Examination 2024. The UPSC CSE Mains 2024 test will take place from September 20 to September 29. The complete exam schedule is accessible on the official website, upsc.gov.in.
Candidates who passed the UPSC CSE Prelims 2024 are eligible to compete in the UPSC CSE Mains 2024. UPSC CSE preliminary test was held on June 16, and the results were announced on July 1. A total of 14,627 students passed the UPSC CSE preliminary exam. This year, the Commission intends to fill 1,056 vacancies, including 40 seats set aside for people with benchmark disabilities (PwBD).
UPSC CSE mains 2024: Dates and session timings
The UPSC CSE mains 2024 test will begin with an essay paper on September 20th. On September 21, candidates will sit for general studies paper I in the morning and general studies paper II in the afternoon. The following day, September 22, will have general studies paper-III in the morning and general studies paper-IV in the afternoon.
On September 23, the qualifying Indian language and English papers will be held in the morning and afternoon sessions, respectively. The final exams on September 28 will include optional subject paper I in the morning and optional subject paper II in the afternoon.
