UPSC CSE Prelims 2025 Hall Ticket: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on May 13 released the Civil Services Examination (CSE) preliminary exam admit card 2025. Candidates who have registered for the UPSC CSE 2025 prelims can download their hall tickets at upsc.gov.in and upsconline.gov.in. The examination will be held on May 25, 2025.
This year, 979 positions are open. Candidates who score higher than the cut-off marks in the CSE prelims will be eligible to register for the UPSC main examination. The mains will be descriptive and take place over five days beginning August 22.
How to download UPSC CSE Admit Card 2025?
– Visit the official UPSC website — upsc.gov.in or upsconline.gov.in
– Click on the link for e-Admit Card: UPSC CSE (P) 2025
– Enter your registration ID/roll number and date of birth
– Submit and download the admit card
Candidates should check the following details on their admit card and report of any discrepancies to the Commission:
– Candidate’s name
– Candidate’s photograph
– QR code
In case of any discrepancies in the UPSC CSE 2025 preliminary hall ticket, candidates shall notify the UPSC immediately via email at uscsp-upsc@nic.in. To file a grievance, candidates must include their names, roll numbers, registration IDs, name, and year of examination in all communications or interactions with the UPSC.
A candidate whose photograph on the e-admit card is unclear or lacks the name and date of photograph must bring a photo identity card as well as two passport-sized photographs with their names and dates of photograph, one for each session of the UPSC CSE prelims examination with an undertaking.
“Candidates, who have opted for their own scribe, may note that their own scribe will be allowed for the Examination only with a separate e-Admit Card for such scribe. The e-admit cards for the own scribes has been issued in eligible cases,” UPSC said.
Candidates will have to show the UPSC CSE 2025 prelims admit cards at the allotted venue to enter the examination hall. They will have to also carry a photo ID card. The entry of the candidates will be closed 30 minutes prior to the start of the examination – 9 am for the forenoon session and 2 pm for the afternoon session.
The UPSC CSE exam is conducted into three stages: preliminary, mains, and interview. A final merit list is created for individuals who pass the exam and interview with the highest scores.
