Rasik Dave, a veteran actor, died on Friday due to kidney failure. He was 65. His wife Ketki Dave, who played Daksha Virani in the TV show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, and his daughter Riddhi Dave survive him. On Saturday, the actor’s final rites will be performed.
Rasik Dave has been on dialysis for the past two years, according to an ETimes report. According to them, his kidney condition had begun to deteriorate and had worsened in the previous month. His final rites are scheduled for July 30. The actor is best known for his role as Nand in B.R. Chopra’s Mahabharat, but he has also appeared in TV serials. He also rose to prominence as the patriarch of the Vaishnav family, Karsandas Vaishnav, in the show Sanskaar – Dharohar Apnon Ki.

Some of them even reminisced about his roles in their ‘RIP’ message saying, “Sad to know..fine actor and his role as Nand in #Mahabharat was quite sweet. #RasikDave”
