The Vivo Y75, the company’s latest mid-range offering, has arrived in India. In what appears to be the company’s attempt to entice photography enthusiasts, the new Vivo Y75 includes notable features such as a 44-megapixel selfie camera and a 50-megapixel rear camera. The phone also includes fast-charging technology for the battery, so if you travel frequently, the Y75 is a viable option.
The Y75 arrives just days after Vivo unveiled its 2022 flagship phones, the X80 and X80 Pro, in India. The Vivo X80 Pro is the company’s high-end response to the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and Apple iPhone 13. However, its premium features come at a high cost, as opposed to the Vivo Y75, which not only has a premium design but also a decent set of specifications that will appeal to you for much less.
Vivo Y75 price in India
The only variant of the Vivo V75 costs Rs 20,999 and comes in two colours: Moonlight Shadow and Dancing Waves. The Y75 is now available for purchase on Flipkart, Vivo India’s online store, and in stores near you. There is also an offer available if you purchase before May 31, 2022. You will receive “additional benefits” of up to Rs 1,500 if you use an ICICI Bank, SBI, IDFC First Bank, or OneCard card. However, it is unclear whether this is a cashback or an instant discount.
Vivo Y75 specifications
The Vivo Y75 is a mid-range phone with a 2.5D flat frame design and a display with a narrow bezel. It has a 6.44-inch FullHD AMOLED display that the company claims provides a “spectacular immersive content consumption experience.” It is worth noting that this display does not support a higher refresh rate, so it is limited to 60Hz. While regular apps do not show a difference when run at 60Hz and 90Hz, games do.
The Vivo Y75 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G96 processor with a 4G chipset. If you aren’t bothered by the lack of 5G on this phone, the Y75 could be a good choice.
The phone has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, as well as microSD card support. The phone also supports dynamic RAM expansion up to 4GB, which allows phones to take a break when multitasking.
The Vivo Y75 comes with three cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel super macro camera are all included. Vivo claims the phone supports AI-powered camera features, but the 44-megapixel camera, which includes AI Face Beauty, Steadiface Selfie, Video Face Beauty, Picture-in-Picture, and Dual View, is the main draw for vloggers. The Vivo Y75 is powered by a 4050mAh battery that can charge at up to 44W using the included charger.
