Volvo has introduced a Black Edition variation of the XC60 for 2024. It has a glossy black logo and wordmark that adds to the overall visual look. This model will be equipped with gloss-black 21-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The body is painted in Black Onyx.
The inside of the XC60 black edition is designed with a black headliner and a charcoal interior. It also has two seat upholstery options. Contrasting mesh aluminum elements and the Orrefors crystal gears shift knob add to the interior’s surface.
2024 Volvo XC60 Black variant powertrain
This black variant comes with two powertrain options. The first is the B5, which has a four-cylinder engine and 48-volt mild-hybrid technology. It has 244 horsepower and can reach 96 km/h in 4.5 seconds. The T8, a plug-in hybrid with 449 horsepower and a top speed of 60 mph in 4.5 seconds, is the second choice.
Both engine options strive to provide a pleasant driving experience by blending efficiency and power to suit various preferences.
The XC60 Black Edition features a stylish design, comparable to the S60 Black Edition, which was released in 2022. Volvo released only 450 S60 Black edition Sedans in 2022, but no such limitations have been stated for the 2024 XC60 Black Volvo.
The new Black model costs Rs 48,74,190 (ex-showroom). It is slated to make its debut in India in the fourth quarter of 2023.
