Fighter, the much awaited action picture from filmmaker Siddharth Anand, is set to land smoothly, and all of the film’s promotional materials seem to be adding to the excitement already building for it.
A little over three weeks before the film’s premiere, the producers have released a new, brief trailer from Fighter that includes the main cast. With a mesmerizing background score, the 12-second trailer opens with Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone dressed in formal uniforms aboard Indian Air Force planes, poised for action.
The promo video asserts “Sky is the limit,” as the cast, including Hrithik and Deepika, shares a lighthearted moment just before duty calls.
The newest video is a preview for the January 8 release of the song “Heer Aasmani.” The film, which also stars Akshay Oberoi, Karan Singh Grover, and Anil Kapoor, is about IAF officers and will be released on January 25, which is Republic Day weekend.
In a previous interview, Hrithik Roshan shared insights about his Fighter character Shamsher Pathania aka Patty. He explained, “It’s very interesting as Patty, in many ways, in maturity, and age-wise too, is a little younger than me or how Kabir is. Kabir is more evolved and composed. Patty is young, spontaneous and angry, angry at things that maybe I would not personally be angry at. So, Patty is an interesting space for me because I remember being like that at some point in my life.”
Vishal and Shekhar wrote the film’s soundtrack, while Satchith Paulose handled the photography and Aarif Shiekh handled the editing. Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone’s debut film together is titled Fighter. “Sher Khul Gaye” and “Ishq Jaisa Kuch,” two tracks from the soundtrack, have already been made available.
