Xiaomi, a Chinese smartphone manufacturer, launched the Redmi Note 12 5G series smartphones in India on Thursday. The Redmi Note 12, Redmi Note 12 Pro, and Redmi Note 12 Pro+ are the three smartphones in the series. The Xiaomi online store, Mi Home, Mi Studio, and Flipkart will sell the Pro models in the series. In addition to Xiaomi channels, the entry-level 5G model will be available on Amazon. The three smartphones will be on sale beginning January 11. Here are the specifics:
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G
The Redmi Note 12 5G is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 processor and features a 6.67-inch full HD+ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz and a peak brightness level of 1200 nits. On the back, it has a dual-camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary camera sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. It has an 8MP camera sensor on the front. The Redmi Note 12 5G costs Rs 17,999 for the 4GB+128GB model and Rs 19,999 for the 6GB+128GB model. Xiaomi is providing a Rs 1,500 discount to ICICI credit cardholders, lowering the effective price of the smartphone to Rs 16499 for 4GB model and Rs 18499 for 6GB model.
