Kiev: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has stated that he and British Prime Minister Boris Johnson discussed defensive support for Ukraine.
The two sides discussed the situation on the battlefield and the blockaded city of Mariupol in eastern Ukraine, Zelensky said on Twitter, adding that necessary diplomatic efforts to achieve peace were also discussed.
Earlier on Saturday, the Ukrainian president said he discussed defence cooperation with French President Emmanuel Macron over the phone, according to the Xinhua news agency.
